I am a passionate and experienced public affairs professional with over 16 years of core experience in government and industry affairs, policy advocacy, and stakeholder management in the electric vehicle (EV) sector. I currently serve as the Director, Public affairs at SOCIETY OF MANUFACTURERS OF ELECTRIC VEHICLES (SMEV), the apex body representing the Indian EV industry.In this role, I strategically and proactively engage with senior decision-makers across various government departments and ministries, such as NITI Aayog, MoP, MoRTH, MoUD, MNRE, DHI, etc, to create a favorable and conducive ecosystem for the growth and development of the Indian EV sector. I also represent the voice and interests of the Indian EV industry in front of the international automobile industries and other associations, providing support and inputs in policy formulation and implementation. Additionally, I am actively involved in bringing various stakeholders under the umbrella of SMEV, fostering collaboration and cooperation among them. My mission is to promote and accelerate the adoption of electric mobility in India, contributing to the country\'s environmental and economic goals.
