ABOUT ALLISON BRIGGS
I bring hands-on customer service experience and a strong background in leadership, event planning, and team coordination. I worked as a cashier at Surf Thru Express Car Wash, where I developed fast-paced communication skills, handled transactions efficiently, and ensured customers had a smooth and friendly experience. At Gene’s Fine Foods, I worked as a courtesy clerk, where I supported daily operations, helped customers with their groceries, and contributed to maintaining a welcoming store environment.Throughout high school, I was deeply involved in student leadership, which shaped many of the skills I still carry with me today. I served as class president during my sophomore, junior, and senior years. This role taught me how to lead a team, communicate effectively with both peers and faculty, and take full responsibility for important school events. One of my proudest accomplishments was planning our junior prom entirely on my own, without an event planner. From budgeting and venue selection to theme development, promotion, and coordination on the night of the event, I oversaw every detail. It ended up being one of the most successful and memorable proms at our school.In addition to event planning, I organized fundraisers, did advertisements for school functions, and helped build school spirit through consistent involvement and being a leader of our spirit squad,\"Blue Crew\". These experiences strengthened my ability to manage time, solve problems creatively, and stay organized under pressure. I’m passionate about working with others, taking initiative, and seeing projects through from start to finish.
