As a Major Gifts Officer, I have the privilege of connecting passionate donors with opportunities to create meaningful and lasting impact. Every conversation is about more than fundraising — it’s about building authentic relationships, understanding what inspires generosity, and aligning that passion with the mission we serve.I manage a portfolio of dedicated supporters, guiding them through the journey of giving by cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding major gifts. Whether through thoughtful conversations, personalized proposals, or celebrating the results of their philanthropy, I ensure that every donor feels valued and connected to the change they are helping to make possible.What drives me most is knowing that philanthropy has the power to transform communities. My role allows me to be both a strategist and a storyteller, bridging the gap between donor vision and organizational impact.At the Phoenix Symphony, this means helping our supporters ensure that world-class music continues to inspire, unite, and enrich our community for generations to come.Key responsibilities include-Managing and growing a portfolio of 100–200 major gift donors and prospects-Cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding gifts at the $2,500 and greater-Develop and execute tailored cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies-Partnering with leadership, board members, and volunteers to expand donor engagement opportunities-Preparing personalized proposals, presentations, and impact reports-Achieving and exceeding annual fundraising goals while supporting special campaigns and initiatives
