ABOUT ALEXANDER KHRULEV

I am an aspiring software engineer who believes that the role of technology is to improve the lives of people from all over the world. I have 4+ years of Python programming experience with my current focus being the exploration of Deep Learning with PyTorch. I\'m also excited to dive into Rust because it addresses many issues of C++ while still delivering impressive performance.During the past few years, I\'ve dealt with various ML problems with scikit-learn, Tensorflow, Keras, OpenCV, and a little bit of NLTK. I also have practical exposure to Java and C, each for approximately a year. Due to my interest in writing high-performance code, I have experience in profiling and writing optimized code in Python(via asycio, numba, scalene, and a little bit of pybind11 in C++). Additionally, I spend a significant amount of time working with Bash (4+ years) and SQL (2+ years).To pursue a deeper understanding of Machine Learning and Data Science topics, I completed a Mathematics minor as a part of my undergraduate degree. This has allowed me to leverage statistics, linear and non-linear optimization, and applied linear algebra in my work.By the way, I\'m currently on the lookout for new opportunities.
