Whilst working for charities, I always felt there should be more collaboration in the sector. After lockdown I finally got around to starting my own charity networking group and was delighted by the enthusiasm of Malt Cross/YMCA, Mysight Notts and others to host the events. Generous speakers have come along to talk about their charities and help the other charities in the room. Partnerships have developed because of these events. We now have an enthusiastic hardworking committee, and are delivering well received, bi-monthly events on a variety of topics.

I love charities! I help organisations connect, share learning and strengthen how they work. Through founding the Nottingham Charity Network, I bring local charities together to build partnerships and practical solutions. Previously, at Nottinghamshire Hospice, I worked closely with families and partners on sensitive campaigns.
