ABOUT ALINE CARVALHO SILVA

I\'m a biologist specialist in industrial and environmental microbiology, mycology and food safety. I possess over 15 years of hands-on experience in the biotechnological field, primarily focusing on fermentation processes utilizing molds, bacteria, and microalgae as inoculum. This experience has equipped me with a deep understanding of the intricate workings of these microorganisms and their application in industrial settings. In addition to my expertise in fermentation, I have a strong background in microbial contamination control, environmental monitoring, and the identification of microorganisms, including their susceptibility to antibiotics. This knowledge allows me to effectively address and mitigate potential risks in production processes.I had the privilege of being part of a startup team for an amino acid biotechnological plant, where I worked closely with a multicultural and diverse team in a very challenging and fast paced environment.Furthermore, I have implemented ISO 17025 standards in the two laboratories I previously coordinated. With this I could develop my proficiency in quality management systems and my commitment to ensuring accurate and reliable results in laboratory operations.I am well-versed in various regulatory frameworks, including GMP+, FAMI QS, GLP, and HACCP. Additionally, I have experience working with quality tools such as LIMS and SAP.
