ABOUT ALICE HARTMANN
I am a Biomedical Scientist with M.Sc. and Ph.D. Degrees in Pharmacology. My scientific training and expertise are focused on neuropsychopharmacology, psychiatry disorders, cannabinoids and the endocannabinoid system. My background also lies in behavioral biology, neuroscience and neuroimmunology fields. For more than 10 years I worked with preclinical scientific research focusing on the neurobiology and treatment of stress-related mental disorders. During this time, I have gained several important abilities such as people mentoring and training; problem solving; scientific data processing and presentation; independence and cooperativeness; among others. This allowed me to be co-author on over 10 peer-reviewed journal scientific articles, to present my results at several scientific conferences and also to receive competitive Brazilian fundings during pre- and doctoral research. I am a quadrilingual person with an extensive experience in multicultural environments and would describe myself as resilient, committed and flexible with strong communication and interpersonal skills. I look forward to meeting new people, especially those who share my ideals and interests. Therefore, please feel free to contact me. Key words: Pharmacology, Neuropsychopharmacology, Neuroscience, Neuroimmunology, Cannabis, Cannabidiol.
