As a key member of the charity\'s communications and marketing team, I\'ve spent the last three years successfully creating, managing and delivering impactful communications. Working with a high degree of autonomy, I coordinate simultaneous communications projects across multiple channels for multiple audiences aimed at generating income and supporter engagement- Editorial - with my editing and sub-editing background, I\'m proficient in taking complex and technical information and ensuring it appeals to different audiences. As a central part of the editorial team for the charity\'s members\' magazine, I write and commission content, edit and proofread, and liaise with an external production team on design. I also edit and write content for two monthly e-newsletters - pulling together content that inspires and connects with members and non-members and promotes the charity’s aims- PR - I lead public relations for the organisation, working closely with an external communications consultancy. I create editorial/PR content plans, field media queries, and deliver impactful press releases and articles for magazines, newspapers and websites- Web - I create content for the charity\'s website, including web pages and blogs. I have a good understanding of SEO optimisation and I\'m familiar with multiple content management systems- Social media - I use my excellent time-management and organisational skills to manage the charity\'s social media across 10 feeds, producing monthly content plans and scheduling posts through Hootsuite. I\'m proficient in creating graphics and videos using Canva- Campaigns - I lead on campaigning projects within the organisation, liaising with external partners and stakeholders and producing effective communications to encourage supporters, members and the public to take action. Current campaigns include calling for an end to peat sales, and a ban on pesticide use.
