ABOUT ALI HORUZ
I came to the U.S. in 2003 with $500 in my pocket and no English. My first job was driving a pedicab in San Diego. Today, I run the largest pedicab advertising company in the nation.I founded VIP Outdoor Media in 2005 with a single pedicab. By 2009, we were the biggest in San Diego. We\'ve since partnered with brands like HBO, ABC, Fox, HP, Starz, and Showtime to deliver experiential marketing campaigns that turn heads — literally — on the streets around major conventions and events. When COVID shut everything down, I didn\'t lay off a single employee. Instead, I launched XION Motors and raised over $1.2M on Indiegogo for the CyberX electric moped — $800K+ on day one. We delivered every bike we promised and used that experience to electrify our entire pedicab fleet. Now we\'re vertically integrated: we manufacture the electric pedicabs and operate them nationwide. We\'re expanding to Houston, Los Angeles, Chicago, and cities across the U.S. — bringing targeted mobile advertising to conventions, sporting events, and festivals everywhere.I also invest in real estate and mentor aspiring entrepreneurs. The mountain doesn\'t end — I just keep climbing.Featured on CNN\'s \"Somebody\'s Gotta Do It\" with Mike Rowe and GoDaddy\'s \"Icons of Our Tribe.\"
