As a base metals purchaser for the French division of the Group, my main responsibilities are as follows- Relationship management of existing suppliers: regular visits to suppliers in France and in Europe, maintaining long term relationship with key suppliers to ensure the best material quality for the Group- Management of dedicated suppliers portfolio with negotiation, contracting, deployment, assessment, in accordance with Lebronze Alloys business and validation rules, legal constrains and compliances rules- Development of upcycling and recycled metals while complying with the Group’s sustainable purchasing policy: research of new recycled alloys that meet our specific needs and hunting of potential suppliers- Ensuring safety of supply, of the right products and in the right time, through contractual commitments (volumes and flexibility) and proper contract management with suppliers- Managing close coordination, formalized communication and collaborative relationships with key stakeholders: users’ plants and business divisions- Promoting transversal best practices to generate savings- Organizing and delivering on monthly base an objective measurement of Buying Performances according to defined standards- Continuously implementing and contributing to development of purchasing processes towards best in class standards- Contributing to elaboration and implementation long term and short term strategy, mixing use of captive sources and external purchases.
