ABOUT ALEXIS PAYNE
I am currently working for the City of Detroit as a Talent Acquisition Coordinator. In my role, I have grown my knowledge and skills by participating in job fairs, processing new hires and current employees through our hiring process, and leading various projects. Additionally, I have assisted five recruiters by coordinating interview schedules and managing new hires during the onboarding process. Each week, I review and process onboarding documents for 5-20 new hires and status changes.Over time, I have developed many skills in HR, such as multitasking, organization, understanding policies and procedures, and relationship building.
