Engage, qualify, cultivate, solicit, and steward a portfolio of 125 donors and prospects, including research, visit requests, in-person and virtual meetings, donor correspondence, contact reports, and stewardship activities. Make 60 visits per year, with a goal of securing leadership annual gifts of and above. Work with senior program staff and volunteer leaders to design and implement BAMPFA’s program of high-level donor affiliate groups, including newly formed councils devoted to contemporary art, film and permanent collection. Plan a comprehensive annual schedule of meetings, events, and other engagement opportunities for each group, as well as an annual calendar of communications, including solicitations, acknowledgments, invitations, and other touchpoints. Align activities with BAMPFA’s overall fundraising plan to create effective platforms for membership upgrades, major gift cultivation, and board recruitment. Work with museum leadership to ensure the success of the annual Art & Film Benefit, including sales, follow-up, and supporting donor experience. Work with the Curatorial team to solicit major gifts, including specified support for exhibitions, conservation and acquisitions. Communicate with University Development and Alumni Relations and collaborate with gift officers across the University to ensure that donor relationship development steps are in tandem with broader University donor strategies and plans.
