ABOUT ALEXIA DEMARS

After four years at French communications school EFAP, in Paris, I pursued an MBA in International Art Market at ICART to specialize further in cultural communications. Over the years, I’ve gained valuable experience working with Jallu, recognized for its expertise in design and bespoke furniture, a social network dedicated to contemporary artists, and the auction house Aguttes. Building on my experience in the art market, I am now exploring the cultural side of the art world, with a particular focus on contemporary art. I am passionate about initiatives that foster meaningful connections through art and am keen to explore the broader field of art therapy and its potential for enhancing personal and collective well-being. I have a special appreciation for installations and video art, which I find particularly engaging for their ability to inspire critical dialogue and connect with audiences on a deeper level- Après quatre années passées à l’EFAP, école de communication à Paris, j’ai poursuivi un MBA en Marché International de l’Art à ICART afin de me spécialiser davantage dans la communication culturelle. J’ai eu l’opportunité de travailler avec Jallu, connu pour son expertise dans le design et le mobilier sur-mesure, un réseau social dédié aux artistes contemporains, ainsi qu’avec la maison de ventes aux enchères Aguttes. Forte de mon expérience dans le marché de l’art, j\'explore désormais l\'aspect culturel du monde de l\'art, avec un intérêt marqué pour l\'art contemporain. Je suis passionnée par les initiatives qui favorisent les connexions significatives à travers l’art, et je m’intéresse également à l’art-thérapie, qui offre, selon moi, un potentiel fascinant pour promouvoir le bien-être personnel et collectif. J’ai une affinité particulière pour les installations et l’art vidéo, que j’apprécie pour leur capacité à captiver profondément le public et à inspirer des dialogues critiques.
