Engineer. Advocate. Leader.At just 25, I became one of only twelve women ever to achieve Chartered Engineer status – a milestone that reflects not just technical excellence, but a commitment to shaping the future of engineering itself.I’m passionate about enhancing the performance and longevity of complex engineering assets and equally driven to shape a more inclusive and accessible future for technical education in the UK.At Rolls-Royce, I lead through-life technical strategies to improve the in-service phase of long-life assets. My work is grounded in data-driven insight and driven by the core values of Trust, Integrity, and Safety - ensuring long-term reliability and resilience.I began my career as an aerospace engineering degree apprentice, progressing through a master’s degree apprenticeship in Through-Life Engineering Services at Cranfield University. That journey ignited my mission: to champion apprenticeships as a credible, high-impact route into engineering and to inspire the next generation, especially young women, to pursue STEM careers.Over the past year, I’ve dedicated 250+ hours to promoting apprenticeships and engineering - through school talks, air shows, careers fairs, and national platforms. I proudly serve in several voluntary leadership roles, including:• Chair of the Skills England Apprentice Panel• Chair of the MAKE UK Future Makers Group• Trustee of Enginuity• Non-Executive Director of EAL• Apprentice representative in the IET Young Professionals Committee• UCAS Apprenticeship Stakeholder Group memberThese roles give me a voice in shaping skills policy, qualifications, and employer engagement across the UK.Whether I’m improving engineering systems or advocating for technical education, my goal is the same: to lead with impact and create real, lasting change.
