Performed Computer Aided Design and Drafting (CADD) tasks for several diagrammatic and schematic sheets in the Preliminary Engineering and Design and PS & E phase, regarding the following projects: FM 407, US 281 Hamilton, US 62, I-35E at Dobbs, Park Lane, and I-70 Design-Build. This was conducted using ProjectWise, Open Roads, GEOPAK, Civil 3D, Local Appraisal District Interactive Maps, Google Earth, Adobe Acrobat, and MicroStation Manipulated software by generating schematic/diagrammatic plots with correct borders, setting up collector/container files, design files, sheet files, adding annotations to schematics and diagrammatic sheets, modifying pen tables, correcting presentation errors using CADD, using local appraisal district interactive maps to label parcel of land within right of way to its appropriate land use, creating KMZ files, and plotting hard copies of sheets Conducted design work of a new intersection along the “Five-Points Intersection” in Northeast Dallas; designed new roadways, ADA-compliant shared-use paths, sidewalks, and lane configuration design. Designed vertical and horizontal geometry for frontage roads, backing roads, freeway ramps, and commercial roads in Hamilton, Texas as well as conducted re-striping design along said commercial roads. Prepared a traffic control plan detour route map for the I-70 Design-Build effort in Central Missouri and at the intersection of Dobbs Rd. and I-35E in North Texas. Assembled schematic sheets for all these efforts including necessary production after horizontal and vertical geometric design Sat in on several city board meetings regarding progress of design phases I have worked on, also attended several public engagement meetings to inform the public of potential design projects impacting these communities. These public meetings were for FM 407 in Justin, Texas, Park Lane in Dallas, Texas, and US 281 in Hamilton, Texas
