As an Area Manager, I am a member of the station management team (M-Team) and oversee Outbound Operations and On-Road Management (ORM), including full responsibility for the late shift operation. I report directly to the Station Manager (L7) and act as a key operational, people, and stakeholder leader within the station.I am accountable for the end-to-end performance, safety, and development of: • 4 Shift Managers • 6 Operations Supervisors • 17 Sortation AssociatesMy role includes driving KPI performance, operational execution, and continuous process improvement across both departments. I hold KPI ownership for Outbound and ORM, and additionally act as a regional KPI owner for a scorecard-relevant Driver Satisfaction metric, contributing to cross-station and regional alignment.I have ownership of disciplinary processes and professional development across both leadership and associate levels, supporting performance management, capability building, and succession planning in a dynamic operating environment.Beyond core operations, I actively support strategic station initiatives, including: • Participation in the station expansion project, transitioning the site from a pure delivery station to include product storage and handling, enabling the integration of new business lines such as Amazon Fresh • Being part of the station leadership team that launched same-day delivery cycles, contributing to the successful ramp-up and stabilization of new operational processes • Supporting the growth of the operation, resulting in a ~100% increase in dispatch volume within five monthsA key part of my role is acting as a primary stakeholder between Amazon and Delivery Service Partner (DSP) business owners, leading regular performance and relationship-building meetings, addressing escalations, and driving long-term partnership success.
