As a Department Chairmen of the Visual and Performing Arts, I have the privilege of inspiring creativity everyday. I work closely with talented educational professionals in all of the arts disciplines. Together we stimulate artistic genius and raise the standards of academic excellence for each child we impact. My work consist of: Writing Curriculum that is perfectly aligned with the National Core Arts Standards, executing rich Professional Development sessions which equip arts teacher with the necessary tools for success, Teacher Coaching and Evaluation to ensure each lesson taught in my department is both highly effective and tailored to the needs of each learner, Project Management which encompasses everything from asset allocation to creative space renovations, Parent Liaison work which fosters passionate and knowledge parental support and, Community Engagement work which enables me to establish viable working relationships with community partners that ultimately benefit my students.
