ABOUT ALEX MAKSYMIW
I am seeking a career in the digital industry whereby I can further my passions for media, marketing and content production. During my Masters degree, I developed an enthusiasm for content production and editing. I have experience in working remotely after having my course curtailed by COVID-19. This did however enable me to develop my communication skills and lead me to my journalism role. This allowed me to further enhance my creative writing skills in a professional capacity, by tailoring delivery to my target audience by assessing content analysis data. Whilst working for a start-up company in a closely-knit team, my contributions led to exponential growth, moving the website ranking to within the top globally. I am a proficient user of various software after having recently undertaken my undergraduate and postgraduate studies. These include, but are not limited to, Adobe Creative Suite, Avid, and collaborative tools such as Microsoft Teams and Slack.
