Accountable for coordinating and supervising directional drilling operations, managing the technical selection, performance, and availability of drill bits, motors, mwd/lwd and bottom hole assembly (BHA) tools, with a strong focus on operational efficiency and Non-Productive Time (NPT) reduction.Main responsibilities:Continuous monitoring of directional, mechanical, and hydraulic performance; implementation of improvements based on operational KPIs (ROP, tool durability, number of runs, motor efficiency).Real-time coordination with the War Room for trajectory tracking, survey validation, and support for geosteering strategies.Technical evaluation and definition of optimal tool strategies in collaboration with Drilling Engineering and vendors, aligned with well design and geological conditions.Inventory, rotation, and traceability management of bits, motors, reamers, stabilizers, and special tools to ensure timely availability and operational continuity.Execution of technical audits on service contractors and active involvement in root cause analysis of tool failures or operational deviations.Technical support to field operations, Engineering, and Planning areas, ensuring alignment with safety, performance, and business objectives.Key technical interface between operations, engineering, logistics, and vendors, ensuring service quality and achievement of UG KPIs.
