As Classics Outreach Co-ordinator for Scotland, I am on the front line of a multi-agency campaign to revive the teaching of Classics in Scottish state schools, advocating for Latin and Classical Studies to be offered to pupils at both primary and secondary levels. In this role, I collaborate with colleagues in schools, universities, charities and local authorities to investigate routes to introduce classical subjects across Scotland\'s thirty-two council areas. Once a plan of action has been agreed, I work with local authority officers to attain funding for their projects. Classics for All is committed to supporting this campaign financially, and contributes costs towards training and materials. In addition to these duties, I have been charged with improving the public profile of this campaign. I am doing so through a mixture of online media (websites, posts on social media etc.) and engagement with national and local press in Scotland.
