Highly externally focused, I engage donors and prospects through personal meetings, stewardship and cultivation events, and at performances and other special events- Manage a personal portfolio of 100+ current and prospective Ambassador and Arabesque Society (planned giving) donors - Create and strengthen relationships between donors and Houston Ballet- Maintain a robust calendar of in-person meetings both inside and outside the theater- Participate in the Ambassador Committee volunteer group by providing logistical support, attending meetings, helping identify Ambassador prospects for Committee members, and following up on any leads with members as appropriate- In coordination with the Director of Individual Giving, assist in identifying and qualifying Ambassadors with the capacity and interest to give at higher levels- Develop and maintain collateral related to the Ambassador program, including Ambassador and Young Ambassador brochures and individual proposals for donors interested in specific funding opportunities, such as Academy scholarships- Attend all Individual Giving cultivation and stewardship events and assist with their management as needed- Integral part of the Individual Giving team’s goal to build a community of donor dance enthusiasts
