ABOUT ALEKSANDAR STANISIC

I am an engineer with a passion for working on projects that have a positive impact on the world. I have experience in various industries, from non profits to start ups.With OrangePeople I supported an IT (CTO) project introducing a new generation of software development life cycle (SDLC) enterprise tools. I analyzed and documented software development processes with end-users and stakeholders across multiple business units. Furthermore, I planned and managed the on boarding and migration of 400+ existing applications onto the new generation of SDLC tools. Prior to OrangePeople, I established a quality management system for Pharmaco-Kinesis Corp, a medical device company, in preparation for ISO 13485 certification. Furthermore, I implemented design control for PKC\'s numerous product lines. Preceding PKC, I was a software engineer for Tioki, an online professional network for educators. I oversaw all of Tioki\'s product development, including a major product pivot. Prior to Tioki, I served as the Co-director of the Lego Department for Star Education in Los Angeles, which taught engineering and robotics to elementary school students using Lego as a teaching medium. While completing my B.S in Mechanical Engineering and certificate in Entrepreneurship from UC Santa Barbara, I co-founded AcceloMed Technologies after winning the prize for \"Best Business Plan\" in the 2009 UCSB New Venture Competition. I continued as the CTO of AcceloMed for two years, through numerous product iterations. My experience is diverse and has been greatly rewarding. I look forward to what challenges the future will bring.
