In 30 years in litigation and corporate support, with a chosen primary focus in construction, commercial premises and all things contract and GL coverage risk transfer, I\'ve learned that there is no substitute for planning, focused/efficient strategy, and identification (and implementation of!) key resolution strategies. Throughout that time, I- have honed that knowledge through service as lead trial counsel in several states, as a trusted advisor to both corporate and insurance industry clients, and through effective national oversight program development and service- successfully apply strategic litigation planning toward maximizing risk transfer/minimizing exposure; speaking and teaching to both small/local and large/national audiences; developing risk transfer plans and programs with local- and national- insureds/companies; training defense counsel, adjustors, and in house teams regarding the details and strategies necessary to effect successful contract and coverage risk transfer- represent and advise those serving in all aspects of the commercial construction industry, particularly contractors and prime subcontractors, their insurance teams, and risk professionals- regularly litigate across a wide spectrum of catastrophic bodily injury, construction defect, contract litigation, Mechanics\' Liens, and other commercial matters; I\'ve litigated 100s of cases throughout Illinois, and via pro hac admission in other states- have led state and national, as well as in-firm, practice groups, planning, seminars, and development, particularly in the construction and litigation areas- have successfully driven large- and small- group discussions and planning, seminars, and teaching sessions across numerous areas of construction, construction litigation, construction contract drafting and negotiations, risk transfer planning and application, coverage analyses particular to GL risk transfer (including additional insured and insured contract issues and ISO/manuscript endorsements)- I am available to assist in analysis and development of your commercial risk management/transfer contracts and planning, risk program and implementation, expert analysis of additional insured/insured contract and related risk transfer coverage(s), or negotiation/mediation support in furtherance of resolution of such issuesSpecialties: Construction litigation, contracts, and GL contract/risk transfer coverage
