Project and Component Engineering: Providing engineering technical leadership, as well as new product development and project management for small rocket thrusters, munitions, and missiles. Currently providing project management for RRLW Advanced Combustion Engine IRAD Program and XM1155 Program. The IRAD program, in partnership with Rolls Royse Liberty Works, is a $0.5M development of a demonstrator prototype advanced combustion engine. XM1155 Program is an $11M Program to develop and test demonstration artillery units using AR advanced propulsion systems.Recent Highlights:• Chairman, Cannonball Program, Failure Investigation Team, bi-propellant thruster anomaly (IRAD)o Lead a non-advocate investigation team to determine root cause and corrective action for an anomaly that occurred during hot fire testing of an advanced bi-propellant thruster. • Chairman, LA Site Council, Safety Audit and Assessment Committee (AR)o Lead a diverse team of engineers and safety advocates to review onsite safety audit metrics and results throughout the year, and to ensure continued effectiveness and identify opportunities for additional improvements or corrective actions and elevation across the site or enterprise. • Project Lead, XM1155 Program (Army)o XM1155 was a $6M advanced propulsion system research program involving Rotation Detonation Engines. During this effort (Phase 1), we performed and documented a trade study on various conceptual designs and their impact on performance. This successful effort lead to an $11M Phase 2 award from the Army to continue research and generate demonstration test units. • SCEPS Program, Integrated Product Team Lead and Cash Account Manager.o Headed the design and development of the main system\'s powerplant for this advanced lightweight torpedo program. This included managing a $10M engineering budget and associated labor resources. • Enterprise Survey Champion representing all of AR Engineering (AR).
