Senior Contract Manager responsible for a local authority contract worth 2.5m+, based in St Albans and surrounding areas.• To oversee the P&L accounts, to achieve or exceed budget and to prepare budget and forecast reports, maximizing profitability with safety, quality, and high output delivery. These targets have been achieved from 2021 to 2024• Prepare monthly and weekly management reports on both local and higher management level.• To develop and maintain relationships with the local authority and other stake holders and maximize efficiency on contract, increasing tendered margins by good contract management practices.Planning of multiple projects, ensuring that they are programmed and resourced efficiently and effectively and within budget. • We have integrated new sustainability and technology advances for the contract and carry on with improving the environmental strategies on the company. Utilizing Geo Pal, teams, social media and to keep modernizing, innovate and create new ways of delivering the contract.• To carryout client liaison and prepare counsellor scrutiny presentation meetings.• To help other team members within the organization including the new business department and existing bid department with new contract.• Responsible for 45 staff members including their development and progression in the company and multiple sub-contractors to carry out ground maintenance and street bins around St Albans. Looking after all green spaces including highways, housing, parks, cemeteries and town centre.• Naturing great relationships with customers and communities around St Albans with multiple community projects on going throughout the year.• Maintaining the fleet of 26 vans/drop tails, three tractors and various other vehicles and machines used on contract.
