I have been in the finance industry for many years, starting with Barclays and then moving into Motor Finance with Advantage Finance and working up through to my current position as a Chief Risk Officer. Current responsibilities include Enterprise Risk for the company, supported by fellow department Directors for their individual areas of risk. The second line Risk Assurance team also report into me, with up stream responsibilities to both our Internal Auditors and the Group Audit Committee.Externally, I chair the Finance and Leasing Association Credit & Risk Committee and sit on the industry Steering Committee on Reciprocity.
