Akshay Padwal is a Mechanical Engineer, an Energy Modeler, and a Product Manager. He has 8+ years of experience in building energy simulation (BEM), international energy codes, product feature development cycle, and diverse team collaboration. At HDR, Akshay performs the role of a Building Performance Analyst as a part of the HDR’s Building Engineering Services (BES) North America practice. A couple of the projects include-\'301 Hillsborough\', A 19-level mixed-use landmark at the center of downtown Raleigh, NC. This project received a \'LEED Gold\' sustainability rating amongst others-\'Outdoor Wellness and Fitness Center, Clemson University\', a beautiful project located on the Clemson university beach which hosts classes as well as stores outdoor sport equipment. This project achieved a \'2 Green Globes\' sustainability rating.Akshay is from Maharashtra state of India and received his bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from Sardar Patel College of Engineering (SPCE) located in Mumbai. He moved to the U.S. and graduated from Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering (MSME) from the University of Florida with 3.8 GPA.
