ABOUT AKRITI BHARGAVA
My work and education experience as an attorney focuses on the intersection between climate law and policy, energy justice, and corporate and international law. At the National Lab of the Rockies (previously National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL)), I specialize in federal and state clean energy law, regulation, and policy. Prior to this, I worked for Harvard Law School\'s Environmental and Energy Law Program as a Legal Fellow, studying federal environmental law.I received my J.D. with honors from Lewis & Clark Law School with dual certificates in Energy and Sustainability Law, and International Law. Prior to law school, I worked for Sierra Club\'s Beyond Coal campaign as a Research Analyst for the Environmental Law Program, supporting legal strategies for decarbonization and consumer advocacy.I am particularly interested in sustainable and just transitions to clean energy, and deep grid electrification for resilience and energy security, and am always seeking mentors and learning opportunities in these fields!
