ABOUT AKHIL MATHUR
I am an AI Research Scientist in Meta Superintelligence Labs, leading technical innovations on LLM reasoning and agents. Previously, I was a Principal Research Scientist and a Distinguished Member of Technical Staff (DMTS) at Bell Labs, where I led a team of ML researchers on embedded and distributed machine learning research. Besides generative AI, I am also interested in the topics of Federated Learning, Self-Supervised Learning, On-Device ML, and domain adaptation. My research has been covered by several media organizations including the New Yorker, Financial Times, Livemint, and Canadian Broadcasting Corporation.I hold a Ph.D. in Machine Learning from the University College London while also being affiliated with the Cambridge Machine Learning Systems Lab (CaMLSys).
