ABOUT ABDULLAH KHALID
I relocated to the UK to pursue a career in law, motivated by a strong belief in the rule of law, shaped by my personal background and experiences.I completed an accelerated LLB and Diploma in Professional Legal Practice at the University of Strathclyde, alongside a Master\'s in International Economic Law. During my studies, I volunteered as a student advisor at the University of Strathclyde Law Clinic, supporting clients with social security, housing, and employment issues. This early experience sparked my interest in access to justice and practical legal work.I later volunteered as a Legal Advisor at Castlemilk Law & Money Advice Centre and secured a traineeship at the Law Centre, supported by the Legal Education Foundation. I also gained claimant-side experience in personal injury law at Digby Brown Solicitors, assisting individuals injured through accidents or negligence.I now work as a defence personal injury solicitor at Keoghs, where I advise insurer clients and represent defendants in a range of litigated claims, including cases involving employers’ liability, public liability, and occupiers’ liability.I’m committed to providing clear, commercially focused advice and achieving fair, strategic outcomes for clients, while continuing to build my expertise in personal injury litigation.
