Hyderabad, IN

Currently working as a Quality Assurance Engineer on the Westlaw application, where I am responsible for ensuring the quality, stability, and reliability of a large-scale, business-critical web application. I am actively involved in both manual and automation testing, contributing across multiple phases of the testing lifecycle. In my role, I work closely with business analysts and product stakeholders to understand functional requirements and translate them into detailed and effective test scenarios. I design, review, and execute test cases covering functional, regression, integration, and sanity testing to validate end-to-end application workflows. I also perform exploratory testing to identify edge cases and potential risk areas.Alongside manual testing, I am involved in automation testing using Selenium with Java. My responsibilities include writing and executing automated test scripts, maintaining existing automation suites, and analyzing execution results. I apply core Java and OOP concepts while working with automation frameworks and follow best practices to ensure script reusability and maintainability. Automation efforts are focused on reducing manual regression effort and improving overall test efficiency.I actively participate in defect identification, logging, tracking, and retesting, ensuring clear communication with development teams and timely resolution of issues. I collaborate closely with developers during defect triage and support root cause analysis by providing detailed reproduction steps and test evidence.
