ABOUT AISHA SUFI

I am an experienced and values-driven educator with over a decade of impact across teaching, curriculum leadership, and post-16 strategy. My career has been defined by a commitment to raising standards, developing people, and creating ambitious, student-centred cultures where both learners and staff can thrive.As Director and Head of Sixth Form, I lead on recruitment, retention, destinations, academic progress, and behaviour standards, ensuring that every student is supported to reach aspirational outcomes. I oversee key pastoral and academic functions, manage cross-departmental teams, and drive strategic initiatives that strengthen the Sixth Form’s performance and ethos. My work includes curriculum review, UCAS and progression pathways, enrichment design, and mentoring early career teachers.With a background spanning English, Media Studies, curriculum design, and whole-school CPD, I bring a holistic understanding of teaching and learning. My experience as a GCSE English Language Examiner enhances the precision and rigour I apply to assessment and pedagogy. I have led multiple departments, coached staff at various career stages, and contributed to school-wide improvement priorities—including high-performance learning, KS3 redesign, and raising outcomes at KS4 and KS5.
