ABOUT HAMEL KHAKHRIA

I lead product management for IBM Consulting’s Product Design & Engineering portfolio, one of the company’s largest and fastest-growing businesses, driving platform strategy and go-to-market across large-scale enterprise initiatives.My route to product leadership wasn’t conventional - I learned how businesses run from the ground up, literally! It started on the front lines, sweeping floors at Paramount Canada’s Wonderland. Less than eight weeks later, I was promoted to management. That early experience shaped the values I still believe in today: earn trust by showing up, lead by being a great teammate, and raise the bar no matter where you begin.Since then, I’ve worked in government administration, digital marketing, fashion accounting, live events, and even selling suits at Hugo Boss, building a ground-up perspective on how organizations run and scale.At Solera, I pivoted into product. I built automation tools, joined a global startup incubator, and helped scale Ritty, an auto-glass POS system adopted by over 100 customer locations. I later led regional product portfolios across Canada, India, and Australia, and helped launch a couple flagship AI offerings. Guided Image Capture processed more than 1.5 billion images, while Intelligent Damage Detection unlocked significant new revenue and helped reposition Solera’s commercial AI strategy.At IBM, I’ve led strategy for pricing, integrations, scale, and event analytics across AIOps.
