The KOIPA Mexico City IP Center, part of the Korea Intellectual Property Protection Agency (KOIPA), provides institutional support to Korean businesses by offering information and guidance on intellectual property (IP) matters in Mexico, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Brazil, Argentina, and Chile (listed from north to south).KOIPA, a government agency under the Korean Intellectual Property Office, operates a global network of ten IP centers, supporting Korean companies in navigating IP challenges across forty countries.As Director of Mexico City IP Center, I oversee strategic and operational initiatives to help businesses strengthen their IP rights and navigate regional markets. In carrying out this role, I engage with local authorities and industry associations on IP-related matters, ensuring our efforts align with the broader landscape of intellectual property and trade in the region.
