ABOUT AHMED GHAREEB
The overarching goal of my career is to integrate my veterinary expertise, laboratory capabilities, clinical and scientific background, and research knowledge to address health and welfare challenges affecting both laboratory and farm animals, and indirectly impacting human health. As a veterinarian, I have a strong passion for developing animal models for human disease research, especially in areas related to cancer.Throughout my career, I have led numerous in vivo and in vitro studies under ABSL2+ conditions, applying a wide range of life science techniques, including cellular and molecular laboratory methods, immune assays, nucleic acid techniques, molecular microbiology approaches, microscopic imaging, and bioinformatics. I have also developed extensive experience in vaccine R&D, regulatory compliance, live animal experimentation, Good Practices (GCP, GLP, GSP, GDP, etc.), pharmacovigilance, and animal welfare.I possess a deep understanding of viral and bacterial pathogenesis, host immune responses, and molecular basis of diseases. I authored and co-authored over 20 peer-reviewed publications. While personal excellence and technical skills are essential, I also prioritize collaboration, continuous learning, and high productivity without compromising quality. My attention to detail, adaptability, and agility in dynamic environments enable me to contribute meaningfully to team goals and deliver impactful results. My professional aspiration is to translate my knowledge and experience into meaningful outcomes that contribute to sustainable animal and human health.
