Created and oversaw the strategic narrative for feature stories that were published on social media, multi-media and the High Commissioner’s speeches. Collaborated with 23 human rights experts to determine story message and positioning. Evaluated all communication products to ensure quality and relevance for spokesperson and speeches.• Created authentic and diverse personal stories about young human rights leaders from Africa, Asia, Latin America and Eastern Europe, which expanded audience reach 100% and attracted a younger demographic.• Played a key role in influencing global leaders at the U.N. to declare genocide in Myanmar by developing a comprehensive communications strategy that elevated newsworthiness on social media.
