ABOUT AGHAVNI HOVAKIMYAN

A highly-motivated, creative, sustainable fashion entrepreneur, who spent over 5 years in research and development to come up with ethical, eco-friendly and sustainable fashion brand MEVERDE. There are 4 key area of focus of sustainability: Environmental aspect: We have tried various alternate material to match the real leather. After several groundwork we settled to plant-based organic leather. Socio-economic: Throughout our business model is/will be deploy the production in the countries/region affected by war. Usually skilled artisans are the group of people who gets struck due to the war adversity. Its important to preserve the skilled community. Further we ensure that the business is done with dignity and above avg. pay scale. Swiss army knife design: We believe in less is more and omni purpose in terms of utility. All our collections have multiple application. One piece of bag can be a tote, backpack or cross body that caters to the occasion. Further our accessories add value that caters to the mood, being classic or contemporary. One bag many occasions. Zero waste: since the beginning our focus has been on “Zero Muda” concept. All the waste that’s generated are re-created into meaningful products such as belts or smaller wallets.
