ABOUT ALEX ESPINOZA
Cybersecurity engineer who enjoys breaking down complex threats and turning chaos into clear, actionable responses. I work across enterprise environments, monitoring, investigating, and responding to security incidents in both on-prem and cloud systems, with a strong focus on detection, threat hunting, and rapid containment.I’ve spent my career strengthening endpoint, identity, network, and email defenses, protecting sensitive data, and supporting compliance-driven environments. I’m especially passionate about improving security operations through automation, smarter workflows, and continuously refining detection logic to stay ahead of evolving threats. With a background in web development, I bring a builder’s mindset to security, thinking not just about how systems break, but how they’re designed, deployed, and secured end-to-end. I thrive in collaborative teams, enjoy solving hard problems, and believe good security should be effective, practical, and a little fun to work on.
