ABOUT AJ KARAKUS
I\'m a UX Researcher who has been with D2L since September 2019. In my role, I tune in to users\' problems, needs and goals, and share these insights with my team to help to build empathy with users and translating these insights into actionable plans. I\'m also part of our accessibility champions team at D2L with a purpose to increase awareness for users of assistive technologies and to support D2L with building inclusive products. I have a master’s degree in System Design Engineering from the University of Waterloo. This, combined with my undergraduate degrees in psychology and computer engineering, gives me a unique understanding of people, technical aspects, and products.
