In the fast-paced, ever-changing world we live in, adaptability and a growth mindset are not just advantageous; they are essential. My journey, from a dedicated student of Communication Disorders: Speech-Language Pathology at California State University, Northridge, to a Registered Behavioral Technician working with individuals on the Autism Spectrum, and then to a Data Analyst and now a Project Coordinator at Tesla, is a testament to this belief. Starting my career in clinical therapy, I was profoundly moved by the impact that dedicated, empathetic care can have on the lives of individuals with Autism. This experience instilled in me a deep-seated desire to make a meaningful difference in the world. However, as the pandemic unfolded, it became clear that the world was changing in unprecedented ways, and I was inspired to adapt and grow with it. A newfound passion for data analytics and coding led me to complete an online bootcamp with Thinkful, where I developed proficiency in statistical analysis using SQL and Python. These skills empowered me to extract insights from data and craft compelling narratives, a critical ability in our increasingly data-driven world. Now, as a Technical Project Coordinator at Tesla, I am harnessing the power of project management to drive meaningful change in one of the most innovative companies in the world. My journey has taught me that our paths are not set in stone; they are malleable and can be reshaped with determination, adaptability, and a willingness to embrace new challenges. I am proud of the journey I have undertaken and the diverse skill set I have acquired along the way. It serves as a reminder that with the right mindset, we are all capable of overcoming obstacles and achieving our goals.
