WORK HISTORY
Head of People Analytics @GitLab
San Antonio, TX, US
Responsible for building out the People Analytics function for the company. To do this, my team and I work with data and analytics engineers on the central data team and with analysts on the people technology team to ensure data pipelines are built between the source HR systems (e.g. Greenhouse, Workday, Thought Industries) and the data warehouse. Final data models are deployed using dbt, GitLab, and snowflake. In collaboration with business leaders, we build People Analytics dashboards in Tableau for the company to monitor People Group key performance indicators. We also provide support for the overall survey strategy, helping build questions and methodology for 360 surveys, onboarding surveys and the annual engagement survey. Quarterly, I provide the data support for board and executive leadership presentations from the People Group, working with senior leadership in the People Group to finalize metrics and initiatives that are shared in the presentations- Use data to find insights and support decision making across the organization- Provide insights around organizational health, including hiring, retention, diversity representation- Build a roadmap and prioritization for the data management, report generation and strategic alignment with People Group leaders regarding their analytics needs- Develop single source of truth for methodology and alignment on data definitions, metrics, and reporting for People data in the company.
