Responsible for the day to day running of the Foundry and all its departments. direct daily management of 25-50 employees through 3 - 4 supervisors / managers whilst providing full technical support to all departments. Driving continuous improvement and positive change throughout the business\' to increase efficiency and profitability.Evaluating costs, budgets, manpower, to meet company targets and KPIs inline with the business development plan.Building relationships with existing and new customers to increase sales and provide a quality service on time and in full.• Streamlining the business to minimize profit loss and focus on the main areas of the business leading to securing major investment to install over £2million of equipment to increase efficiency and profitability.• Increased casting quality significantly and reduced scrap from 10% to 2% while increasing OTIF deliveries from 60% to 94%• Building relationships with customers to provide a high quality of service from cradle to grave which has led to a significant increase in sales and the orderbook whilst bringing a lot of new customers into the business based on the quality of service the company provides.• Improve company morale by introducing morals, principles & Values to create an inclusive, team working environment to achieve operational excellence and improve company standards throughout.• Introducing health & safety, training documentation, and working procedures to conform with today’s standards whilst working towards ISO 9001 accreditation and HSE Regulations.• Restructuring the pattern shop and re-evaluating pattern equipment to improve mould quality, handling, methodolagies and pattern equipment life spa.
