ABOUT ADAM PACKMAN

Experience Contaminated Land Consultant with a demonstrated history of working in the construction industry. Reporting expereince includes the compilation of Phase I and II Reports, Remediation Strategies, Verification and Contract Completion Reports requred to achieve sign off of planning. On site skills include the identification of asbestos containing materials in soil, recovery of soils samples for a range of analysis types, ground water sampling using a range of different recovery techniques inlcuding low flow, hydrosleeves, and bailers and ground gas and vapour monitoring. Site experience includes site investigation, remediation management and verification works on a wide range of sites inlcuding schools, former power stations, hospitals and historic industrial sites including gas works and rail engieering depots.Additionally experienced in environmental assessment of altered water courses including weir perfromance assessment, sediment sampling for both reuse and disposal, weir removal and installation of naturalised in channel structures, working to improve the connectivity of the UKs river network and provide new habitats for fish and aquatic mammals and invertebrates.Formal education inlcudes a Bachelors Degree in Environmental Geoscience and and a Master Degree in Applied Environmental Geology from Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd with multiple short courses attended throughout my working life.
