I have been managing partner of RSM\'s Milton Keynes office since April 2017. The Milton Keynes office has acheived substantial growth since opening in 1998 and now provides a full range of professional services including audit and assurance, accounting support and outsourcing, corporate and private client tax compliance and advisory, corporate finance and insolvency services. The growth of the office has been fuelled by a passion for first rate client service predominantly to businesses in Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Northamptonshire, Hertfordshire and parts of Oxfordshire and Cambridgeshire.I have over 17 years experience advising in all areas of personal/private client, business and corporate tax in and around the Milton Keynes area. I particularly enjoy working with owner managed businesses such as soletraders, partnerships, LLP\'s and corporates to provide commercial and tax effective solutions to their business and accounting needs. This will range from inception of the business through growth and on to the exit or succession strategy and planning. Particular areas of focus are Research and Development, Capital Allowances, Corporate transactions/reorganisations and international tax. Tax advice should be undertaken as part of achieving commercial aims and not as an exercise in isolation. In view of this, I think it is important to build strong working relationships with my clients and understand their businesses in detail to enable me to deliver an excellent and effective service.
