ABOUT ADAM HUCKERBY
As a British and Canadian dual citizen, I have experience working across different civic and community contexts, which informs my approach to neighbourhood-level engagement and collaborationMy work focuses on supporting neighbourhoods, community groups, and organisations to develop practical responses to local needs, strengthen local capacity, and improve how services and partners work together at a community level. This includes relationship-building, coordinating activity across partners, and supporting delivery at neighbourhood scale.I am currently undertaking a Level 4 apprenticeship in Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability, alongside my professional role, which complements my practical experience with structured learning in governance, social impact, and responsible organisational practice.I have experience working within and leading international teams, including involvement in international development volunteering programmes, supporting cross-cultural collaboration and delivery across different contexts.I also bring experience from a development and fundraising background within the voluntary sector, where I worked with partner organisations to build relationships and secure investment to support service delivery.
