ABOUT ADAM DUCE

I am Director of Transition & Progression at Godalming College and a Level 7 qualified Careers Adviser. As part of the upper management team, I have responsibility for the L6 induction programme, UCAS, careers progression, alumni, destinations, external partnerships and the tutorial programme. I teach A level English Language and am also an External Quality Reviewer. Alongside my professional role, I am Mayor of Godalming, having been a Town Councillor since 2019, and elected as a Waverley Borough Councillor in May 2023. In 2022, I was nominated and became a finalist for the Young Councillor of the Year Award organised by NALC. After completing my degree in English Language at Cardiff University, I have studied a number of postgraduate degrees in Education, Linguistics and Careers. I have career interests in education management, further/higher education and education policy. In addition to the above, I have experience examining and writing for different exam boards as well as being both a Staff and Charity Trustee.
