ABOUT ADAM CHESTOCK
As a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (FCIPD), I have over 25 years of experience in leading and managing HR teams and activities across different regions and business units. I am currently the HR Director for our UKI & N businesses, Global Marine and Navy, and Subscriber EMEA at Johnson Controls, a global leader in smart and sustainable buildings.In this role, I work as a senior HR Business Partner for two diverse and dynamic business areas in UKI & N and Global Marine which offers different challenges by its truly global nature across Emea and APAC. I thrive on delivering the strategic HR plans through working with my HR partners and stakeholders globally. Having developed a stable and high performing HR team across the region we are well respected in the partnership that we deliver. I have full responsibility for the HR activities in the BU’s listed for approximately 10k employees, covering all aspects of generalist HR, such as talent management, engagement, retention plans, driving resource capacity levels. I also focus on improving employee engagement and inclusion, change management initiatives, while ensuring alignment with the company\'s vision and values. Working closely with 4 VPGM’s delivering a strategic value add activity through continual review of metrics and a problem solving approach to drive growth plans. My goal is to provide a true value-added HR partnership that supports the business strategy and enhances the employee experience.
