Client Relationship Management • Build, maintain, and grow long-term relationships with personal banking clients. • Provide tailored financial advice based on clients’ goals, needs, and life stages. • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, helping them navigate banking products and services. Financial Advisory & Planning • Offer professional advice on investments, retirement planning, credit, mortgages, and everyday banking. • Conduct thorough financial reviews with clients to identify opportunities for growth or improvement. • Develop personalized solutions that align with RBC’s financial strategies. Sales & Business Development • Proactively identify and pursue opportunities to deepen client relationships. • Meet or exceed individual and branch sales targets (e.g, credit, investments, insurance, mortgages). • Promote RBC’s digital and self-service solutions to enhance client experience. Risk Management & Compliance • Ensure all transactions and recommendations comply with regulatory and internal RBC policies. • Accurately assess client risk tolerance and financial profile before offering solutions. • Maintain proper documentation and follow procedures for AML (Anti-Money Laundering) and KYC (Know Your Client). Collaboration & Leadership • Work closely with other RBC specialists (financial planners, mortgage specialists, investment advisors) to deliver holistic solutions. • Mentor and support less experienced advisors or banking staff when needed. • Contribute to a positive and client-first team culture.Daily Activities • Conduct client meetings (scheduled or walk-in). • Perform financial needs assessments and recommend products. • Open accounts, process loans, mortgages, lines of credit, and credit cards. • Support clients with wealth management and retirement planning. • Guide clients toward digital banking options and RBC online tools. • Track sales activities and maintain performance metrics.
