As a member of the Communications and Engagement team, I drive our campaigns and communications efforts to amplify awareness and engage our audiences on crucial initiatives like World Meningitis Day, Meningitis in Your Words and World Immunisation Week. I create and manage content across various channels, including social media, email, web and press, ensuring our messaging reaches and resonates with our diverse audience.I lead media monitoring and journalist outreach, identifying opportunities to increase our visibility and sharing timely, impactful stories. I also oversee Meningitis in Your Words, the world’s largest collection of personal experiences with meningitis, attracting new contributions and ensuring content accuracy.Additionally, I support the wider team on social media engagement and content creation. My work supports our team’s communications strategy, enabling well-organised and impactful campaigns that further our mission.
