ABOUT ABHISHEK SHARMA
I research and develop AI models for healthcare at Curai Health, spanning LLM training, reinforcement learning, and probabilistic machine learning.I completed my PhD in Computer Science at Harvard University (DTAK Lab), where I focused on probabilistic machine learning and reinforcement learning for healthcare. My thesis work covered graphical models, inverse RL, safe offline RL, and model-based RL.Over 8+ years in academia and industry, I have applied ML to real-world problems in healthcare, education, and process optimization, building on experience at Google Research, Mitsubishi Electric Research Labs, Qualcomm, and Sony.I am passionate about exploring fundamental research questions AND building engineering systems that work well in the real world.
